The Leapmotor B05 will soon be available from Groupe LG’s Leapmotor Prestige Auto dealerships. This new fully electric five-door hatchback has been designed to meet everyday driving needs while offering sporty styling, advanced technology and enough range for longer journeys.
Starting from €25,400 in France, the Leapmotor B05 is positioned as a highly competitive option in the electric C-segment. It combines performance, comfort, generous equipment and up to 482 km of WLTP range.
A Responsive Fully Electric Powertrain
Built on the Leap 3.5 electric platform, the Leapmotor B05 features a rear-wheel-drive layout and an electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
The powertrain delivers 218 hp, or 160 kW, and up to 240 Nm of torque. This configuration provides smooth, quiet and responsive performance, making the B05 equally suitable for city driving and longer road trips.
The Leapmotor B05 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, highlighting its dynamic character.
Up to 482 km of WLTP Range
The Leapmotor B05 is available with two LFP battery capacities:
- a 56.2 kWh battery offering up to 401 km of WLTP range;
- a 67.1 kWh ProMax battery offering up to 482 km of WLTP range.
Lithium iron phosphate technology is known for its thermal stability and long-term durability. The two battery options allow drivers to select the range that best matches their daily journeys and driving habits.
Fast Charging for Everyday Convenience
Depending on the version, the Leapmotor B05 supports DC fast charging at up to 174 kW.
When connected to a compatible charging station, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in approximately 16 to 18 minutes. AC charging is available at up to 11 kW through a Type 2 connection, including public charging stations and home wallboxes.
The Vehicle-to-Load, or V2L, function also makes it possible to use the energy stored in the battery to power compatible external electrical devices. This can be particularly useful during a journey, a weekend away or an outdoor activity.
Smart and Connected Technology
The Leapmotor B05 uses technology to make everyday driving more comfortable and intuitive. Its digital environment provides easy access to key driving information and vehicle functions.
Through Leapmotor’s connected services, selected functions can also be controlled remotely, including climate control, charging schedules and vehicle status monitoring.
A Comprehensive Range of Safety Features
The Leapmotor B05 comes with a wide selection of driver assistance and safety technologies.
Depending on the trim level, available features may include:
- Adaptive Cruise Control, or ACC;
- Traffic Jam Assist, or TJA;
- Lane Keeping Assist, or LKA;
- Lane Centring Control, or LCC;
- a 360-degree camera system;
- Autonomous Emergency Braking, or AEBS;
- Blind Spot Detection, or BSD.
These systems are designed to improve safety, comfort and driver confidence during urban journeys and longer-distance travel.
